Place crimpers away from model
and make sure lead is not over model.
· Make sure heat setting is
suitable for models hair and any necessary product is in place such as heat
protection spray.

Start with the underneath of
hair and take hair in small sections.
· Start at the root and clamp
crimpers over hair for a few seconds and release and move down to the end of
the hair in chunks.
· When crimping hair at the top
of the head hold hair upright and hold crimpers on their side in order to crimp
the root of the hair.
